The District at Chesterfield
The District at Chesterfield is an entertainment district at I-64 & Boone's Crossing in St. Louis, Missouri. The new development is filling the spaces where an outlet mall once stood with restaurants, a concert venue, and an arcade. I worked to establish The District's brand, building off the existing tagline, "Eat. Play. Rock." After coordinating and executing all content for a strategic launch social, I worked to grow the audience organically through storytelling and direct community outreach.
In launching the brand on social, our goal was to offer behind-the-scenes looks at The District’s development. The content tells the story of why the new development is being built, what it will do for the community, and how it will breathe new life into a space that had fallen into disuse. The social pages also serve as a PR extension for public events, such as experiential pop-ups, hard-hat tours, and ribbon cuttings.
In the first 30 days since launching on Facebook and Instagram, organic growth efforts produced 500 new followers on Facebook and 250 new followers on Instagram, and direct outreach led to 20 direct leads for the The District's leasing team.
